A century of design, reimagined: Webb Gray launches new brand identity and website

Webb Gray has strengthened its position as an architectural solutions provider with the launch of a new brand identity and website.

In a move that reflects both its 100-year heritage while looking to the future, the Birmingham-based practice has revealed a bold visual identity and invested in the design and development of a modern website.

Webb Gray director, David Delaney-Hall said: “We’re incredibly proud of our people, our clients and the work we deliver – that won’t change. But evolving our visual identity is an important step in reflecting who we are today. Reviewing our website was also essential to ensuring we continue to be known as a business that’s easy to work with.”

The refreshed brand pays homage to Webb Gray’s distinctive creative process, particularly the use of yellow tracing paper. This signature medium has become a hallmark of how the team shares early design ideas with clients that are sketched in real-time to bring concepts to life.

The new website brings that creative spirit online. With a modern, streamlined design, and striking project imagery, the site showcases both Webb Gray’s heritage and its contemporary work. Navigation has been simplified to create a more intuitive user experience, mirroring the clarity and creativity that sets Webb Gray apart.

David added: “Often it’s the act of drawing it in front of a client that helps get the idea across – more than a polished final piece ever could. As we move forward, we remain committed to design excellence and client satisfaction.”

Founded in 1919, Webb Gray has evolved from the delivery of ecclesiastical and residential projects to a practice specialising in commercial and logistic architecture.
Its portfolio includes major retail, commercial and industrial spaces such as the £800 million expansion of Manchester Airport, a £165 million project at Spa Park in Leamington Spa, and the design of a 600,000 sq ft logistics unit at Ellesmere Port.
