THG HQ Fit Out – Completes

After completing the THG Offices & Studio Base build project in early 2020, the THG buildings went on to receive a futuristic fit out. In 2022 we were approached by THG to enhance the fit out in specific areas giving these areas a unique feel in line with THG Branding but also reflecting the Dominance of the THG Brand.

The project was broken down into specific areas:

The six areas are as follows.

• Ground Floor Reception

• Circulation Cores (GF, L1, L2, L3)

• Boardroom (L3)

Today we have completed that journey along side THG. The reception, circulation cores and Boardrooms have been revamped to give them a new lease of life.

The Design

Reception

The reception now offers up a bespoke product, display and seating areas alongside the feature Artwork of “Richard Orlinski : Kong Spirit” and Pufferfish globe.

The Product Display Area was treated with a more freeform design, using the existing metal wall features as the instigator for a projecting product display defined by linear feature lights and a contrasting backdrop which provides the framework for arranging the products.

The Seating / Waiting Area was developed with a more bespoke feature seating bench which accommodates the plinth of the Wild Kong and the Puffertouch screen for a more holistic approach. Feature Pendant Lighting

To make further use of the atrium height and make the lobby feel less empty, feature lighting was hung from the ceiling to replicate the geometric and angular forms being used throughout these refreshed finishes.

Circulation Areas

The circulation spaces were the core of the building primarily housing the lifts, toilets and feature stair. This was a high traffic area and as such the finishes must be robust, but they must reflect the THG Branding.

We particularly looked to Enhance the existing lift elevations with a copper surround which extended the height and increase prominence. A Over panel in metal to match lift doors was also included.

Boardroom

The boardroom included a feature wall treatment, the Armourcoat panel was supplemented by two backlit shelving units that match the finish of the Awards Walls. This helped to frame the feature panels while providing the opportunity to customise the display in the future.

The feature wall was enhanced further with a perimeter light which will provide a soft glow against the midnight blue wall colour. Working in combination with the backlighting to the shelves, the overall outlook is lighter with a subtle accent that compliments the wall texture and the items displayed.
