Webb Gray sponsors Burton RFC’s 2025 Italy tour

Webb Gray is proud to sponsor Burton Rugby Football Club’s Under 16s “Class of 2014” squad as they prepare for their end-of-season tour to Italy in October 2025.

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and youth development, Webb Gray’s sponsorship covers the team’s tour essentials, including player kits, travel, and accommodation.

The tour represents a significant milestone for the squad, marking the culmination of a decade-long rugby journey that began back in 2015 with the club’s Little Ruggers programme.

Burton RFC team manager, Rob Bolton said: “It’s a long-standing tradition at Burton RFC for our Under 16s to take part in a final season tour before they transition to the next level of rugby. This year, it’s the turn of the Class of 2014 — our boys born in 2009 and 2010. Many of these players, along with their coaches and families, have been on this journey together from the very beginning.” 

Webb Gray’s backing comes as the team celebrates an incredible season, having recently lifted the Staffordshire County Cup.

The team has been fundraising throughout the year, and this latest corporate sponsorship brings them closer to their goal of making the Italy tour a reality.

“We’re thrilled that Webb Gray has joined us in helping to make their final season one to remember,” Bolton continued. “Their support ensures these young players will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will stay with them forever.”
